Bangalore is the capital of Karnataka and is India's third largest city with a population of 9,00,000. The city is also known as the "Garden City" because of its greenery. Bangalore is often referred to as the Silicon Valley of India because it is home to many of the top technology companies in the country including Infosys, Wipro and HAL.
