It's simply one way solution, no two ways. Remove one matchstick from the +sign and place it on 5 to turn 9 i.e 9 - 7 = 2. QED For those that are moving a matchstick to front of two is wrong because you are not allowed to shift the 2 forward which will make the =-2 join together.
